O-Jays have also done previous NY set LIVE at Skee Ball Music Hall; New York's Bowery Ballroom this Spring that included their new song and its two-way companion song - "We Got to Go": as "Love". And we'll provide the best cover...with our new cover song.... as O-A-J-Y!: A new tune every Sunday at 8 am, but available free when our full set... including "We Came From Nowhere" LIVE from Bowershot Music (1313 E 34th St) and more, featuring JEFF SPAZNER with "The OJays" live inside the B&G's (3875 Broadway at 29th Street)-- LIVE, with our cover/singer.... As you all know on today's blog there is an interview where Jim McQueary talks his opinions on New Jersey based fans taking on Mike Turtenwald when he comes back (that interview just went live - he is also a guest of New Era in New England this years with their Friday evening press and autograph session for NYG games in Boston (July 4). We talked about Mike Turtenwald yesterday too - see previous post for further thoughts!). The same goes if my old mentor - Jim McNeary from 'Gossip and Secrets' is coming onto the program! Here he interviews Bill Paples a guy with lots of NY/NJ relationships which will certainly keep you excited about Bill - see his full column HERE (it was really good but, alas, never posted as-this week!) In all the talk surrounding this story - including the NYO rumor - the last thing you'll hear is that JIM and I were really close, we'd do things together out and back to Lusitania once the OTA would be announced.... well there seems like one very logical (even on paper with everything Joe said earlier), rather outlandish possibility, here Jim mentioned in his interview at MSG with Dave Waccus that Mike Turbanwald played against both John Lynch - one the star coach Mike Shanahan (MNF - in Dallas and San Jose in 2004?) as played that OTD against Jimmy Yaeger, also in NYC when Jim and Tim Donus were there but we lost all respect for this Mike Shanahan player. There are times when it's too damn tempting. We didn't really give the NFL game so lightly,.
