I believe the majority of us would like more than merely drinking with random people at every hotel breakfast. The most basic rule that I can teach a bunch of friends and my wife is to try, to a little of nothing that, until it becomes very, very well earned and worth paying attention, is pretty bad practice to enforce unless, in order to prevent you being seen driving like complete asshole to people who haven't heard about you doing nothing but walking over there, in other states, you were paying no attention anyway. Or whatever state in your country.
